The need for qualified health care professionals versed in interprofessional practice is growing with an increased need between 25-44% through 2020.  The 应用于医学 major is designed to ensure that students obtain the required pre-requisites for a professional program in 体育训练, 职业治疗, 医师助理, 物理治疗.

事实上, students who complete the 应用于医学 major in the top 10% of their class 和 meet program requirements are granted an automatic interview for Indiana State University’s professional programs (OT, PA 和 PT).  毕业后, students may also obtain employment in medical sales as a physician extender or medical office administrator.
